Standard returns — 30 days
You may request a standard return of The Buddy™ or The Hank™ purchased through highwalllift.com within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.
To be eligible, the product must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, in its original packaging, and include all hardware. Standard returns include changes of mind.
Return authorization is required
Before returning any merchandise, contact sales@highwalllift.com or (806) 729-3701 with your order number (format HWL-YYYY-NNNN), the product, and the reason for return. We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions and the return shipping address. Unauthorized returns may be delayed or refused.
Return shipping
For standard returns, the customer pays return shipping.
For products that are defective or were shipped incorrectly, Highwall Lift pays reasonable return shipping costs and will provide instructions when the claim is approved.
Restocking fees
Highwall Lift does not charge restocking fees on eligible returns.
Refunds
Standard returns are refunded for the product purchase price plus the sales tax collected on the product. Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable for standard returns.
For defective or incorrectly shipped products, Highwall Lift also refunds the original shipping charges when a refund is issued.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, within 5 business days after we receive and inspect an eligible return. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund. Where only part of an order is refunded, your order will show a partial refund.
Order cancellations
You may cancel an order for a full refund at any time before it ships by contacting sales@highwalllift.com or (806) 729-3701. Once an order has shipped, this Returns & Refunds Policy applies.
Defective or incorrectly shipped products
Defective-product claims are handled separately from standard change-of-mind returns. If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact sales@highwalllift.com or (806) 729-3701 as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where available. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund under the warranty below, including shipping, as applicable.
12-Month Limited Warranty
Highwall Lift warrants The Buddy™ and The Hank™ against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use for 12 months from the original delivery date.
This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from misuse, overloading beyond the published load limit, improper installation, use contrary to the installation instructions or the lift manufacturer's requirements, unauthorized modification or repair, accident, or normal wear.
If a qualifying defect is confirmed, Highwall Lift will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product at no cost to you, subject to applicable law. Highwall Lift covers reasonable shipping expenses for approved warranty claims, including the required return shipping and delivery of the repaired or replacement product.
Repaired or replacement products are covered for the remaining balance of the original 12-month warranty period; coverage does not restart.
To make a warranty claim, email sales@highwalllift.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when available. Highwall Lift will review the claim and provide instructions before the product is returned.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Quote-based and international orders
Orders placed through a custom quote (freight, international, multi-set, or tax-exempt) are governed by the terms stated on that quote; where the quote is silent, this policy applies.
