Information we collect
Quote and contact requests: your name, company, email address, phone number, city and state, product interest, lift type and any comments you provide.
Online orders: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, the products ordered, the shipping service you select, your order number and order status, and refund or warranty history. Shipping quotes: the delivery address you enter to obtain a shipping rate is stored temporarily with the quote (quotes expire after 30 minutes) and, if you order, with your order.
Website usage (analytics): this website uses PostHog analytics, which collects information about your device and browser, the pages you view, and how you interact with the site, using cookies and similar browser storage. PostHog session replay is enabled, which records page interactions such as clicks, scrolling and navigation; text you type into form fields is masked by PostHog by default and is not captured in replays. We do not use advertising pixels or sell analytics data.

How we use information
To respond to quote and contact requests; to process, ship and support orders; to calculate shipping rates and sales tax; to send transactional messages about your order (confirmation, shipping, refund and warranty communications); to handle returns and warranty claims; to detect and prevent fraud; to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations; and to understand and improve our website.
Marketing emails
Highwall Lift sends promotional emails, product announcements and special offers only to customers and prospects who have opted in. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe mechanism. Transactional order, shipping, refund and warranty notifications are separate from marketing and are sent regardless of marketing preferences. The website does not currently offer a marketing sign-up; if you would like to receive updates, email sales@highwalllift.com.

How long we keep information
Order, payment, refund and related transaction records are retained for 7 years, subject to applicable legal requirements. Warranty records are retained for as long as needed to honor the 12-Month Limited Warranty and to meet legal obligations or resolve claims.
Quote requests and contact inquiries are retained for 3 years after the last interaction, unless an ongoing business relationship or a legal obligation requires longer retention.
When personal information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable law. Deletion is currently performed by periodic manual review rather than an automated schedule.
How we protect information
Payment pages are served by Stripe over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and this website is served over HTTPS. Order and customer data are stored in an access-controlled database available only to authorized Highwall Lift staff, who sign in with verified Google accounts restricted to an approved list. Payment card numbers are never stored by Highwall Lift. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
